How to filter water by air compressor
The main methods of filtering water by air compressors are as follows:
- Hot and cold interaction method: The hotter compressed air can be cooled, so that the moisture in the air can be condensed, thereby achieving the purpose of filtering water.
- Set up a drain valve: Set up a drain valve at the sewage outlet at the lower part of the air compressor gas storage tank to drain water regularly. This effectively discharges the moisture accumulated in the gas storage tank.
- Using filtering method: Processing through a compressed air filter. The working principle of the filter is that after compressed air enters the filter, it will produce a coalescence effect and condense some particles, including moisture. These particles will be left on the filter or further separated in the separation chamber. Finally, drain the water through the drainage equipment.
- Using an oil-water separator: Installing an oil-water separator at the air outlet of the air compressor can effectively intercept and separate moisture in the air.
- Using a dryer: If necessary, you can add a combination dryer, a refrigeration dryer, or an adsorption dryer. The refrigeration dryer precipitates water through the principle of cooling, while the adsorption dryer adsorbs water through the principle of pressure swing adsorption, thereby obtaining dried compressed air.
These methods can be used alone or in combination to improve the effect of filtering water. At the same time, regular maintenance and replacement of filter elements are also important steps to ensure the filtering effect.
